TOWN OF AMSTERDAM — Two women are facing charges after allegedly harming a child at their home on Belfance Road.
Maria Tarquinio-Kuhn, 51, and Arline Tarquinio-Kuhn, 43, both of 140 Belfance Road, were charged Thursday with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said they received a report on Sept. 22 from the Montgomery County Child Protective Services Department regarding an incident at the home.
Deputies said the report alleges the women caused physical injury to an 11-year-old child at their home. The child received medical attention and was released, deputies said.
Maria Tarquinio-Kuhn and Arline Tarquinio-Kuhn were both ticketed and are expected to appear in Amsterdam Town Court at a later date.
