Deborah (Taelor) Lee Kennedy-Bowman, 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Orlando Regional Medical Center with her husband by her side.

She was born on May 1, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Richard H. and June Marie Stumpf Kennedy.

Taelor worked for Shell Oil Company and Phillips Lighting Co., as a software computer consultant in her early work years. She married William E. Bowman on Sept. 13, 1992, and moved to Fort Plain, N.Y., where she opened Moonlight Advertising Distributors, a promotional products business, and later Cornerstone Casuals, a clothing store. In 1999 she moved to Orlando, Fla., where she worked at SeaWorld for two years before becoming the office manager and accountant for MLM Architects for 15 years, retiring in December 2016.

Taelor is survived by her husband William E. Bowman of Orlando, Fla.; a step-daughter, Ellie R. (Stephen) Backer of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Sharon Phee of Orland Park, Ill.; a brother Richard (Kathy) Kennedy of Laporte, Ind.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Taelor was entrusted to the Neptune Society Cremation Services, Inc. Celebration of Life get togethers will be scheduled at a later time. Contributions, in Taelor Kennedy-Bowman name, may be made to the SPCA of your choice (she loved all animals).
