Fonda library to display work by Mohawk Valley photographers this month
FONDA —The Frothingham Free Library, at 28 W. Main St., is pleased to announce we are displaying the work of the Mohawk Valley Photographers during the month of September.
Founded in April 2002, Mohawk Valley Photographers is comprised of a small group of friends who share a universal passion for the art of photography.
MVP members have completed a 365-day photo challenge, exhibited work in Fulton-Montgomery Community College’s prestigious Perrella Gallery, documented local historical buildings for the Montgomery County Department of History & Archives, and had their work displayed at the New York State Museum in Albany. MVP members have also exhibited and won awards at the annual Hagaman Art Show.
While their backgrounds and experiences differ, this diverse group of photographers all strive toward a common goal of capturing the world’s beauty as seen through their lenses!
Please be sure to stop in to view this outstanding display during our regular library hours.
