Mr. Edmond Francis Dunn III, 59, of Clinton Street, died peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2012 following a long illness at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Hawthorne, CA on December 23, 1952 he was the son of the late Francis Dunn and Salina Delongchamp.
A proud American, Ed served with the United States Marine Corps. and the Marine Corps. Reserve Forces for several years. During his tenure with the Marines he received 28 awards during Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 701 Amsterdam and Post 337 Broadalbin. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his partner of 26 years, Nancy Wakefield; one son, Paul; his daughter, Rachel Lynn Dunn; two brothers, Victor Sperduto and his wife Josephine and family and Anthony Bill and his family; one sister, Marina Mathers and family; and many friends.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Entombment will take place at Gerald B. H. Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the staff of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
