Officers responded to a pair of 911 calls about a disturbance, then a stabbing, at 106 Woodrow Road.
Witnesses say an argument started over two children who had a disagreement during a basketball game, which resulted in the victims being stabbed by at least two different female suspects.
Police said both were transported to Albany Medical Center for wounds to their chests and abdomens. Their medical status was unknown by police around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, but their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Officers at the scene were advised that several females arrived in two vehicles, and that several of the female suspects fled the scene in a blue vehicle with out-of-state plates.
While additional officers arrived at the scene, they observed a vehicle matching the aforementioned description carrying four females. A traffic stop was initiated, and the women were invited to police headquarters for questioning.
Police cleared the crime scene in less than 45 minutes Sunday.
No charges have been lodged at this time, and no weapons have been recovered, but the investigation is continuing. Police declined to release additional information Sunday.
